A jumble at the top this week as Bevo hooks up 6 winners for 55 points powered by 5 road wins. Oklahoma, Washington, FAU, Miss St and Wake Forest caps it by scoring 70 points in his doubler at Army. He moves up to 2nd.
Mike Lynn needed all 6 wins to stave off the charge. His #1 pick Cincinnati showed a bit of the stress of a G5 contender at Navy.
Eli’s A Force Falcons were his only loser – a home loss to the SDSU Aztecs. His Panthers put Clemson out of their misery and the Bama double play keeps paying dividends.
John McKay’s downward trend continues as Coastal Carolina was exposed at App St and he gets vexed by La Monroe for the 2nd week this season. This is a great bit of exceptional CFB Pool irony, as a La Monroe loss 2 years ago gave him the Pool championship over Zendejas.
Meathead called it in his picks. A 2-4 week, but the undefeated UTSA Roadrunners salvage a lost week in his doubler. He’s slides to best of the lousiest status.
The Hagg took losses by NC ST, V Tech and Texas Tech.
Zendejas week was highlighted by Wyoming (20 pt fave) losing 14-3 to New Mexico at home for a rare -4 point loss.
And Clemson lands a KO punch to Scott LeDoux in his double game. 4-4 in doublers this year. Son, that just ain’t gonna cut it.
