I agree with Muck and Barn, when you actually sit down and think about it it is tough to do. I measured these with 4 categories:
Game
Pregame activities
Attractions surrounding the game
Lodging
There is one constant to all of these, I truly enjoyed being with all the round-heads that have went on the trips… including Muckie. Lot’s of memorable lines and circumstances.

#5 Oregon at Washington – living on the house boat was a very cool thing to do… we went to lunch with it, tailgated on it, made fun of HS rowers on it and occasionally hot-tubbed on it. The back story with the owner is priceless and adds to it.

Honorable mention: Georgia at Ole Miss – I loved the things we did leading up to the game, Civil Liberty tour, Memphis night life, Lee’s friend, Lee escorting me on a 2am BBQ run, Graceland, THE GROVE! They only downfall was the game. Ole Miss had 7 players drafted off that team but didn’t cross midfield until the 3rd quarter.
#3 USC vs UCLA (Rose Bowl) – Where do I start with this one… and what do I leave out…. The Riot House, bar hopping in LA, the game was great…The USC marching band dogging me “Nice gut”. Tailgating on a golf course
#2 Temple at Army – Great House, great game, great atmosphere, lots of fun tooling around and stopping at different places, West Point Tour. This was the complete trip for me.
#1 Florida at LSU – two highly ranked teams in a fantastic game, great atmosphere, scary seats, Achilles Jim, New Orleans and the alley bar we went to. The swamp boats were so fun. Muck is the Canal Street Fairy (Ferry) – Thanks Jim for that line.
SO many great memories on all of them… I think the next list should be top 3 lodgings, pregame, game etc.
I know I’ve said this before but I have never felt closer to a group of guys than I do you fellas….
