Only 5 weeks left of the greatest pool in the history of the world and it looks like we’re going to the wire. We’re more stacked at the top heading to week 9 – which features the most teams in any week on their bye, gearing up for the home stretch.
Walter, George, and Meathead were 6-0, Walter wins the week with 48 points – Clemson was good for 20 vs. NC State. George sweats out the final Saturday game in his doubler with a 16-13 SDSU win over winless San Jose (monitoring it on his phone as his MIL’s house with no cable) That’s the beauty of the pool right there, boys. Meathead gets 36 points out of 6 wins and moves to the top half of the standings in 4th, Walter slowly climbs and moves to 6th – and George is officially lurking, 3 points out of first place.
Starkey and Gob lost 1 this week, Miss State got stone-walled by LSU for Starkey and ASU lost Thursday night to Stanford for last-place Gob, the only guy with NO hope of winning the pool this year. Zero. Hope. Gob. Starkey sits in 3rd, just 13 out of the lead.
Everyone else was 4-2.
Leader Mike Lynn had the -4 (home-scored less than 10-no cover) loss from Michigan State.
PJ’s Buckeyes got trounced in his doubler, he falls to 5th place.
Skunk drops to 7th place despite a shutout win from Iowa in his doubler.

The Sisters are slowly closing the gap.
