The tune changed this week for our defending champion. Clemson starts the week off with a loss at Syracuse. UTSA gets beat at home by the Mean Green. Auburn loses at LSU in his double game. Western Michigan gets rained out on Saturday, so the agony continued until Sunday when Akron finally put this lineup out of its misery. 6 points for the week. Sounds like a country song, so welcome to the pool….

Knut.
Knut out-crapped Negatron and Stumpy Pete, scoring 14 and 18 points respectively. Negatron lost his double game with Washington’s loss at ASU. Houston also got blitzed at home giving up 45 to Tulsa.
Louisville and Temple were home losers for Stumpy Pete. Georgia posts a meager 8 points in his double game.
Snuffy is the clear-cut man to beat the rest of the year. He wins the week again with 47 points – Bama puts up 18 in his double game, road wins from Toledo and La Laff. Miami OH was his only loss – his other Miami team avoided the Wreck.
Ringo moves to second place despite losses by Florida and San Diego State. TCU posts 20 in his double game. Marshall gets a 9 point win over ODU and Ohio State embarrasses his Huskers with a road-shellacking.
Gundy, PJ, and Daggett were all 5-1. Washington State thought their game was Saturday for Gundy – the hangover for Troy was too much for PJ – and Daggett’s Gophers 4th quarter onslaught was too little, too late.
Snuffy, Ringo, Negatron, Stumpy Pete, and Gundy will be on the campus of the 5-2 Army Black Knights Saturday as they welcome the Temple Owls. God bless the United States of America and God Bless the College Football Pool.
